1. Was massively optimistic about getting upstairs sorted with three days off in the week, but it's clear and I've put two coats of paint on over the weekend. It's starting to look like it's supposed to. Goodbye games room, not that I ever really bothered to go up there since I got a Switch, hello office for the wife. I think me running around playing with Bracken in the front room while she was in what I didn't realise was a pretty important meeting a couple of weeks back was the final straw.
2. Second jab for Bracken tomorrow, so walkies start soon.
3. Back to work tomorrow, so I get to relax again after my time off. YouTube and music while I scan, continuing to eek out the dregs of the best job ever. I'll probably be home by 1pm for a nap too.
I've just finished two weeks of daily harmonica lessons with an Udemy course.
20 minutes a day and now I can play along to a simple 12 bar blues track with three simple chords, keep time and improvise with it too!
I'm loving this!
And my family still don't know. Can't wait to be able to see what I can play in the summer
Not everything is The Best or Shit. Theres many levels between that, lets just enjoy stuff.
Finished work for the week, today I'm taking a while day out to go fishing. Just me and my old man.
Got our swims booked at a local commercial fishery lake, got all the gear sorted from the loft and have nothing to do other than sit, fish and chat with my dad all day.
Heaven.
Then I'm off to that there londondondon to meet Yoss and Elm for drinks.
Then it's my birthday tomorrow so off work again and spending the day with my family.
Lovely day out planned and hopefully getting some new Warhammer models for me and the boys to paint and play with.
Lovely

Thanks to last year's redundancies: no longer having to work with the colleague who said "NOPE!" then sat there all chuffed with himself every single fucking time the building fire alarm test said "may I have your attention please". Worst person I've ever worked with for a multitude of reasons, thank fuck he's gone (and employed elsewhere, ergo I sidestep being a dick here).
Thank you for that last bit in brackets. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and, as someone who's just dodged redundancy by the skin of my teeth, my mood was darkening by the word for a minute there.
I hope you've been putting lotto tickets on recently Kris. You're overdue a bit of luck.
