Verdict on the level design is as follows, B: that one and an oil rig one:
..are amazing, in both looks, and the way the interlink. Then there are two that are fairly bland - a city area, and the worst, a dustbowl type deserty deely.
There are enclosed areas, wide open areas, areas you can get ringed out from-Â it's pretty varied. In Long Kong (really), there's an underground fridge full of hanging frozen carcasses, it's set up so that if you were in a huge battle, you could in theory wander in there and meet a giant mech smashing all the meat into meaty ice pieces.
It's hard to give you a definitive view on this without playing plenty of multiplayer though, I can see myself putting more late nights into this so should have more to report.
The only time I imported something from Japan I got hit by import duty. I'm pretty sure most importers on here have been hit by it at some point or another.
I didn't buy this. I just don't have enough gaming time to warrant dropping 70 quid on it.
Meh, it's definitely not on the same level as Power Stone. I was immediately impressed by the demo, but over time I got fucked off with it. I'll bag the cheapo PAL ver at some stage, maybe.

I expected at least on the same level. It's far too random, you just get constantly fucked over. It's not as fun as it looks. It's fucking infuriating most of the time.

Survival mode and 1 v 1 are all I've managed to get games in so far, not that I've had much time to play, but both work well.
I didn't play the demo, but you can simulate a 16 man royal rumble, which is proper random. I can see 2 on 2 being a great way to play. It's just hard finding games atm.
Finished the campaign last night, so now can start exploring the different characters properly. Apart from some questionable stereotypes and casual misogyny, I loved every minute of it. Big, stupid fun and surprisingly epic.
Like Bayonetta, it scores you for each round, which on completion you can go back to, and I think it's going to let me use the full cast to mop up the platinum medals (scores you from bronze to plat on each then gives you the average on each stage formed of about 6 missions).
Time to find out who I want to use online. The campaign is perfect for getting to grips with the characters, he way I rip through hordes of toxic freaks now looks a lot cooler than when I started - and I what I admire is that everything is possible from the off, it's just a matter of levelling up how you play. I'm of the mind that all the best games action games have this in common.
Added some players that have the game in the EU and MENA, and can't wait to get proper multi sessions going.
The stage events are amazing. In the space of half an hour you can carpet bombed, enveloped in poison mist from giant plants, run over by a juggernaut with a meat grinder on the front, sucked into a black hole and rushed down by a horde of giant pink mutants, whose heads are on fire and weapon of choice is a car on the end of a lamp post used like a hammer (also on fire of course). Yeah this shit is great.
