The combat is really meaty and deliberate, but you can be quite nimble too, once you get the hang of stamina management. It really picks up on the later levels. It is a little derivative, but at least it's taking from the right places - Slay the Spire, Dead Cells and Hades. And the gear choices are nicely balanced. I need to stop relying on the same weapons combos though. I keep going back to claws and whip.
