Enjoying the new courses. Typical Nintendo to cheap out on the visuals when adding to a game that's made them infinite money though. The textures wouldn't pass the Pepsi Challenge vs the base (ten year old) Wii U game. Can't imagine any other developer getting away with it for a flagship franchise; the internet would explode.
It is better co-op for sure, and I do play it with my son (aged nine currently) so you can play it with kids, but you can play it solo also. And for 95 pence it’s absolutely worth it. Of all people though I would have thought that you’d have it already Moot. I am shocked that I have been able to recommend a less than one quid game to you of all people.
That was awkward and unsettling, never post anything like it again.
It makes no sense that I haven't bought it so I had to go looking for an answer - turns out I've got it on GWG, which must've been at the back of my mind on sales dives. Will try today.
I only played Waverace long after its release when I eventually got a JP N64 as I heard the PAL port ruined the experience so stayed away from it. It's still a great feeling game. Its looks have dated of course but it's still a splendid game.
Wow I did not expect they would drop WaveRace. That’s excellent. Does make me wonder when Nintendo will do another driving game beyond Mario Kart anytime soon.

If it was remastered even a tad with TT leaderboard and online MP I'd likely be in.
Would love to see Excitebike64 get some love too - late release and a perfect bookend to Waverace in the N64 library - its handling is superb. Damn nice game.
I vowed never to double dip on digital content but I couldn't resist, despite owning them all on PS3 up to III.
For anyone who still has never played DOOM64, its £1.69. Please do yourself a favour and check it out, it really is a criminally overlooked entry in the series.
