Sure, the graphics and animation, in particular, are a stunning leap in TLOU2 but the story in one wins hands down. TLOU1 is outstanding storytelling.Moot_Geeza wrote:TLOU is good but the jump in quality for the sequel is huge. I found the storytelling in 2, too heavy handed. I thought ND were more interested in the themes than the characters. But TLOU2 is top tier stuff regardless. But.....I only played the TLOU Remaster, not the original a few years back. Ill be super eager to dive into the Remake, but its gonna be a looooooooong time before I go near 2 again.Moot_Geeza wrote:Story/storytelling is strong in both but I much preferred no.2 all round, and I'm pleased DS will be eating his words shortly. It's a total banger.
Thats something we can agree on. Such a tough story to get through and the atmosphere of the thing was incredibly oppressive.Moot_Geeza wrote:I found it heavy going without being heavy handed.
