I know what you mean. Surely all they needed to do was make it widescreen, and just HD up the original graphics / textures and what not. -
I'm finally getting round to playing Skyward Sword. I have never completed a Zelda game. Could this be the first?

I've never completed LttP. I plan on putting that right this year. I got most of the way through it when I borrowed my mate's SNES in the early 90s, but I recently saw some videos of later dungeons and don't remember them at all. Super Metroid, Castleviania IV and LttP will be done before the year is out.

I've no idea why there needs to be a Zelda timeline though. Just annoys me when people insist on bashing things into a coherent order. They're fiction - why can't they just exist as parallel stories? -

The hyrule historia is coming out in the UK on the 29th. 16 pound on amazon for the normal edition (30 for the brown leather version)

Zelda 3 referred to being the ancestors of Zelda one and 2. the villages in Zelda 2 are named after the mages in ocarina (or more realistically the other way round)
