IanHamlett wrote:The bit of shooting they showed at last E3 was a real step up for cover shooters as a whole. Each cover spot was good for one or two enemies. THe third guy would come in at an angle that made your, now crumbling, cover totally useless. The rollercoaster pacing is also a welcome improvement. They figured out a way to roll shooting and stealth into the same section with some action platforming and those gung-ho moments that usually only happen when you've only got 4 bullets left.

IanHamlett wrote:Yes, whoever is playing is clearly trying to show as many unique takedowns and strategies as possible but the level design and enemy placement throws up those possibilities. Very few other games can flick between stealth and melee and shooting that fast. Usually, once you've lost your stealth status you can't un-ring that bell. Using stealth and combat to spice up the otherwise pointless climbing is a fair enough addition too. The main thing is it's all integrated. I'm sure there will still be shooting sections and stealth sections and platform sections but having shooting stealth platform sections is a great step in the right direction.
