I do not like them either. There's a trend behind naming videos too that I am not a fan of but it also gets hits, usually something like "How/why the X of Y is Z"
The Exorcist last night and, having not seen it for about fifteen years, The Exorcist III tonight. Loved this film so much when I went to see it at the cinema all those years ago (so much so I went on to read the book) and it really still holds up today. Underpinned by a really great, weighty performance by George C. Scott and Dourif doing his best mental. Not scary (maybe that one scene will getcha), goes a little nuts at the end, but a really decent follow-up to the original classic.
I wound up watching Brimstone last night. Guy Pearce put in a great performance but the film was just unrelentingly grim. It was about an hour too long.
John Wick 2 the night before. Not as good as the first but thoroughly enjoyable.
Jaws still stands up, The World's End was fucking garbage and Prisoners was excellent but quite tough to watch at times.
Prisoners spoilers ahead:

Also, how did it take so long for Loki to make the maze/pendant connection? First thing I thought of when that fella opened the door and I saw the markings everywhere, but I actually thought that he was the missing boy, not Dano.
Dunno what to feel for Dano's character to be honest, was horrified by his torture as I thought he was innocent, but it turns out he's not but still kind of is due to his head being completely fucked by all that paedo juice? Also looked like Anna was eternally damaged by her ordeal. Grim stuff.
From what I've seen, Villeneuve is three for three so far, really think Blade Runner is in safe hands and even though a sequel is unnecessary, at least it won't be a Prometheus.
