Stuck this on for the first time in a few weeks today, accepted Kow's car club request, hope you weren't waiting too long. Put the Koenigsegg Agera and Pagani Huayra in the garage if anyone want's to take them for a spin.
This is still my favourite chill out game. Load a custom playlist, pick a supercar, and just drive. Bliss.
Started the first four stage rally again yesterday and finished first, second, first, first. The rally dlc is over priced, but it is excellent. Need to get back to the main game too as I've just attained the gold wrist band.
Rumours abound of some free DLC being released for this on Tuesday. A leaked achievement list suggests, however some of the gongs require DLC cars to achieve so generous gift/cynical cash grab depending on your view.
Edit - not a rumour but an actual thing, 1000 Club Car Pack, two new cars, new challenges, free, free, free.

They're certainly experimenting hard with this to try and squeeze some DLC money out of people. Not bothered by achievements, so it doesn't put me out. I just hope they noted that all the DLC chat before release contributed to the bad sales.
It's not bad, a mixture of challenges for every car, some can be done literally within five seconds of entering a car, some a bit more work. Crafty bastards have made it so if you want to get every achievement for this DLC, it is necessary to buy the November car pack at 400 MSP. This won't bother most, especially me because I don't care about achievements... OK so I played King Kong because I like big monkeys, k?

Polished off some races this morning. It's really easy to forget that it's a last gen game, especially when you compare it with some of the Codemasters 360 efforts that have been on GWG. A huge and beautiful world. Really good courses and racing as well, astonishing to think that almost everyone plumped for NFS Most Wanted instead of this at launch. I had frame rate issues with it last night, but apparently a reboot fixes them and it seems to have banished them completely for me.
There is more of a PGR vibe than in FH2, partly the graphics, but also that old school arcade racer sadism. You can't see shit at times when you go from sunlight to shadow and the constant elevation changes inevitably mean an oncoming car or a turn you have a fraction of a second to see.
The racing is good enough that I'd suggest an on-line revival, but memories of the on-line aren't good, their timing is off again, weeks away from FH3 and I think the collisions are much more like to spin a player out, which probably wouldn't be as laid back as FNF.
Well worth a download for anyone with a Xbox and Gold though.
If Horizon 3 turns out shite we've always got this and H2 to turn to then.

Just had a look at the private lobby set up. Looks workable, although only 8 players. The club garage, time uploads and the DLC all seem broken at the moment, so it might not work at all, but I'm tempted.
Downloaded at the weekend. Impressed that I was able to download all previously purchased extras including rally dlc, although I_R's comments above suggest I may not be able to go rallying just yet.
