The Xbone is fucked, but I'm pretty sure this will be amazeballs.
It's the Dynamite Headdy sequel I've been waiting on for over 20 years now.
There are so many parrallels... First, it's said to be as hard as fuck.
It's also a traditional platformer, has some cracking, funny/disturbing artwork, and (really looking forward to this) a high art jazz OST...
There's a PC release too, right?
Will be one of my few full price purchases on the platform.

Boss fight focus, co-op and overall aesthetic appeals to me, I'm day one unless it's stupidly priced. Believe it or not, along with Ori it's the main reason I bought an Xbox. Forza Horizon 3 was just a sweetener.
The art style is still glorious but it's a bullet hell shooter with none of the grace of other titles of that genre, from what I can make out from the gameplay vids.
It wasn't until I hit my thirties that I realised you could unlock rewards by exploring the map
Much like the Edge I would've preferred a boss rush, which was apparently the original idea, but it's co-op so I'm in anyway. Plus it's not like they've taken the bosses out, there are 30 or so. Shame there's no disc release, thought it might get one.
Edit: I believe the preview suggested the co-op is offline only.
I'm up for this, I'm in for day one and retroking is primed for a co-op marathon...but I've just watched a few recent videos, and it really doesn't look that good. Obviously it looks good, it's beyond gorgeous, but rather than simply playing like a throwback I can throw myself into it looks like it could veer on the side of crap. It's extremely cluttered, is clearly punishingly hard and also appears pretty cramped.
I'll find out next Saturday, but I'm worried now, and I've been looking forward to it for years.
It's always been about the art style which is novel and impressive, and I really like, but the game has looked dry as anything since it was first announced.
It's like the old Dwarf Fortress problem inverted, people struggle to play things that look really bad or abstract, and so everyone's scrambling to make games 100th as detailed as DF, but that actually look good enough to the casual player.
