I was trying to look like a silent movies villain, so it's not going particularly well.
My hair does go into ringlets when I grow it, though, so perhaps I'm predisposed for this look. I just hope my receding hairline can support long hair still.
I'm going back to work tomorrow, which normally means a facial hair trim, but I'm quite happy with how it looks. It'll never be a n0face, Gav or Voodoo, but it's looking about as much like a proper beard as it ever will.
Sorry, I mean, enjoy. Tomorrow night is pizza night..
Question for Voodoo. That beardcraft mob seem sound, but can you yourself elaborate a bit more on the benefits of the shampoos and conditioners there? I mean, if you've used them?
I like the idea of them but there's next to no product description there.
Also, oil. How does it get applied?
Cheers mate.
Been using Woodsman beard Oil from thebeardedbastard.com for about 2 weeks now. Absolutely ace stuff, gives yer beard a lovely twilight sparkle and straightens it out nicely for combing. Had a beard all mya dult life but have decided to try for a Yeard now. 3 Months in and the oil has been a great purchase.
Oil applied:
Excuse the unruly 'tache, havent shelled out for the wax yet...

I have taken to using Argan Oil products. It's good for both hair and the skin underneath. They always seem to be cheap somewhere. Picked up a load of Argan Oil shampoo, conditioner and ultra conditioner from ASDA earlier at only £1 per item. Stocked up like a bastard. I have seen it in Lidl , Aldi and even B&M. Keep yer eyes peeled and yer beard soft.
I really enjoyed the "context/game sensitive avatar refresh" (?)...thing. I think it should happen more often. I think outlaw should start a thread (because s/he's a lovely bloke/bird) that organises and arranges said changes for possibly humorous/seasonal/charitable/shits 'n' giggles, reasons.
