However from what I gather it's a better mechanics game than plot game and I've seen some wild combat videos on twitter, including sliding on yr back and throwing a Molotov. Looks like a game of absolutely amazing combat mechanics inside a game I don't want to play.

Now, I hear there's a mode where you can just yomp through the combat puzzles and I'm here for that.

Yeah, I couldn’t disagree more about the combat, but each to their own. It’s certainly not bad let me make that clear, it’s just completely run of the mill stuff.

Absolutely amazing combat mechanics, yeah, no way to that, can you show me some or elaborate as I played for a good 30 hours and it’s just stealthily taking them out or going gung ho and shooting them the same as any run of the mill 3rd person. Again absolutely nothing wrong with it, but nothing special in my opinion.

Beresford you should've upped the difficulty mate. I'm disappointed in you. You're a massive space marine.

Think I played the second from top? I’m not saying it was bad at all, it’s just a 3rd person stealthy snooty game with added press L1 to dodge. Definitely didn’t see anything amazing about the combat but at the same time there was nothing wrong with it. It was what I expected but a little better than the originals.

It’s the grimmest most depressing game EVAH dude! And I loved the first!

Can only go off a twitter vid I saw that was incredible, main character shooting a guy on the leg, jumping down, stabbing a guy, shooting another, sliding on back and flinging Molotov at another. It's definitely made the rounds although I can't find it, as Giant Bomb were talking about it this week. Seems it has done utterly insane mechanics but not a plot.

In fact so much so, there's just an encounters mode. Maybe you were playing it like halo

Encounters mode is a Naughty Dog thing now. Uncharted 4 had it.

Hahahahaha!! Yeah, maybe it you rehearse something like that during the specific combat mode and then show a perfected 10 second clip. Suggesting that’s something that really occurs in the game is absolutely brilliant.

The encounters mode is something I'll definitely give a bash. There's plenty areas I've fully stealthed that I wouldn't mind going in guns blazing.

Of course you can, you can take any 10 perfected seconds of anything and say that’s how it is when in actual fact it’s nothing like that, it’s possible, but not representative. I think the AI is pretty excellent. As good as anything else about, although there are still a few very obviously scripted points or key steps that initiate combat but then don’t all games?

Yeah if it had been on the Xbox it’d have been the best thing ever. Sorry I’m getting it wrong, this is the best game ever and you can do absolutely everything in it and it’ll even do Ass to Mouth if you ask nicely.
