Whoops, my bad; you do download it from the site. Keeps track of which version of everything you've got installed (tells you if there are any updates) and offers convenient links to downloads.
I didn't see the point in an iPhone as I had been relying on my google account data for everything I used to sync to my iPod.
It was really hard letting go of the apps I'd purchased, especially my japanese dictionary which I have not been able to replace. Other than the dictionary and games of Carcassone I don't miss iPoo. I am still interested in how the products evolve as tech enthusiast. There's even chatter about them allowing app installs from untrusted parties but I don't think so.
What would be good is an iOS emulator on Android so I can at least run the dictionary that I blew more than a Darwin on. I could see it working but it'd probably consume most of a device's resources and most likely not support any apps needing handshakes with apple / online functionality.

Anyone got any suggestions for a volume booster? This Nexus is really too quiet for the tube. Just something simple, basically an on/off switch and a volume slider. A simple widget would be preferable, too.
I found an EQ that fitted to your home screen as a widget, like a mixer. It was good and did it's job but would cause my i9100 to grind. Also it was advert riddled.Â
Still though was better than anything else I could find at the time.
I'm happy with the metoffice app and widget, even though not many people seem to like it.
