So, extremely accurate about things that are important and the things it could be accurate about.RamSteelwood wrote:Interesting article about Chernobyl for those that watched it (possibly spoilers for those still to watch it). https://www.newyorker.com/news/our-columnists/what-hbos-chernobyl-got-right-and-what-it-got-terribly-wrong

Some of the best are just simple scenarios spiralling way out of control because of a refusal to follow etiquette and norms, others are really surreal. It's only 18 mins an episode so the 5 eps sail by. I predict everyone else here will hate it but damn if I didn't hurt myself laughing at parts of it.

Yup. Article is interesting but the author appears to miss the point of the show. 'Fictions! Lies! Made up characters!'. A wholly accurate and truthful account would take 50 episodes, not 5. Its telly, not a factual account.pantyfire wrote:So, extremely accurate about things that are important and the things it could be accurate about.RamSteelwood wrote:Interesting article about Chernobyl for those that watched it (possibly spoilers for those still to watch it). https://www.newyorker.com/news/our-columnists/what-hbos-chernobyl-got-right-and-what-it-got-terribly-wrong
