I used the 10 euro voucher to get that last South Park game for a fiver, but t turns out I need to log into poxy Uplay at the same time. Might just refund it. Hate that fucking thing.

For Paid for Epic games, do they require the epic client to be running or can they be run without? The free games I’ve downloaded so far don’t require it (apart from Subnautica where they patched launcher requirement later, apparently). -
You can move Epic games. Just cut and paste the folder to whatever new folder you want, then uninstall.on the app. Then 'redownload' to the new install folder and it should take like a minute then be done. I did it when I moved Metro. -

I downloaded bitdefender and installed. Ran a full scan.

Then I did chrome and my usual stuff.

Hazzah! Found the fucking culprit.
Funnily enough, the above is for an epic games fix. That launcher is still shitting itself, but going back to a pre april 18 nvidia driver has made all the games load again. Interesting.I'm still great and you still love it. -

I have been given £30 by my grandparents for Christmas, and so I wanted to grab some stuff. They are doing a Promotion where you get a £10 voucher, and on valid purchases you get another £10 voucher.
So I bought Outer Wilds for £9.99 with one voucher and get another. Buy Wattam for £5.99 and get another. Buy Anno 1800 for £17.99. Get Another. HELP!!!! -

I take it that's a factory reset? If DirectX is corrupted in your w10 only a fresh clean w10 install will fix it afaik. A factory reset won't suffice. Grab the official w10 download tool here and use it to dl a fresh up to date copy of w10:

Make sure to back up your important files first!
Don't worry about activation keys. Windows will recognize your hardware config and auto activate.

Yeah the epic voucher thing is like getting caught in a loop. So before I cave (again) and buy Metro Exodus - does anyone know if it requires the epic laucher to run? Or can I just freely non-steam game it and get all the Controller benefits that entails.

I ran Control through Steam so I could launch it VIA big picture and get my controller settings for it. I would assume Metro would be the same, but wouldn't like to do you wrong.

But did you close down Epic launcher when doing that?
edit: or to be more clear, did it kick off the Epic launcher when launching it through steam if the launcher wasn't running? -
