That was delightfully cryptic, like those fucking annoying Facebook posts people make like "OMG, so annoyed right now!!!", and they wait for people to ask.
You're welcome.
I'm falling apart to songs about hips and hearts...
Shops are starting to sell their Halloween stuff. Caught out the missus with one of these in the kitchen. I actually forgot I'd put it in there until I heard the scream.
Was a tenner I think. Not bad. However since my kids are now 18 and 17 it's hard to justify decorating the house unless we are having a party which we haven't done in ages. We have a pile of shit in the loft but it doesn't always get put up - depends on Wifey's mood.
If I brought that home I'd probably be crowned with it.
I love me some Hallowe'en. I don't even have children but that doesn't stop me getting some little seasonal bits and pieces out around the house. Favourite film to watch on the night is The Company of Wolves (though Trick 'r Treat is a guilty pleasure).
Think I might look out for a good IT torrent for Halloween this year.
That and a few other movies, bottle of Kraken, candles and spooky snacks (big bag of Space Raiders).
Will make some soup as well, pumpkin if I can be arsed, butternut if not.
Trick or Treat can do one, advantage of living in flats.
my daughters favourite day of the year is Halloween. He mum has moved house though and I can't see the new area being as good for trick or treat as all the houses are gated. Last year she wanted to be a vampire and wanted to me to be one too.
This year she wants me to be a skeleton, she's going to be a ghost.
He could've just said they came from another planet but seems keen to convince people with his bullshit pseudoscience that he knows stuff. I wouldn't trust him with my lunch. - SG
I have never watched the original Halloween. The slasher genre doesn't really do it for me.
Anyone ever watch Halloween III - Season of the WItch? It's a good story but delivered in fairly cheesy low budget fashion. It was an attempt to break away from the Jason thing and have a different story every year tied to the Halloween brand. It tanked.
I wasn’t big on Hallowe’en until I started working for Club Noir, but spending Hallowe’en weekend with the burlesque gang is now one of my year’s highlights. Best bunch to do glitter and gore with, for sure, and it’s our biggest party every time – even beats Hogmanay.
This will be the last one we ever do, and I’m going to miss it.
On the other hand, I’ll be 41 by the time it comes around. Quite old enough to stop being a DJ, I think. Don’t wanna be that embarrassing old bloke with the headphones and shit dancing.

I love Halloween, and scary things in general. This year new stranger things and black mirror will be nice too.
I have a few sealed horror films like the innkeepers etc but I always go back to me and the wife's faves.
Recent fave is paranormal activity 3. Set in the 80s and by the guys who did catfish I think? Also dark skies is very underrated, and I loved VHS and the house of the devil.
Never dress up myself really but like to do pumpkins and decorate, and nowadays can dress up the kids.
Edit: davyK reminded me I still haven't seen the film krampus.
