Super T?
In Rome:
Take it slow
Colosseum
Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain
Piazza Navona
Vatican/St Paul's
Palatine Hill / those ruins
Random churches with Caravaggios and other stuff
Just walk around! I love going to a new city and just walking around.

One thing that worked for us was going into the Vatican Museum while everyone else was in the square waiting for the Pope to emerge. no queues and relatively quiet for an hour or so.GooberTheHat wrote:One tip I'd give. If you're going to go to the busy tourist sites (Vatican/Colossus) then it's worth booking ahead and getting the que jump tickets. A guided tour is a good idea too, but if not I'd definitely still buy the que jumper tickets.
