Cool. Checked out the typhus corrosion too so I've an idea of where to put it. Waiting for accessories sucks. Hopefully next Wed as I'm going to the 40k group and will see what I can steal in spare guns.
Cloak looks really rad, nice work tiger. Remember you aren't working with an ideal miniature there either, all of GW's plastic stuff is so much better for painting than the early stuff, so if you can make that look good you're in for a win.
If you feel yourself getting into it all a bit more, the Miniature's Monthly podcast is exceptional, and has an ace little Discord community around it. We have painters of every level, from people who can't even spray cos they have nowhere to do it, to a guy who has just entered Golden Daemon.
Quite easy to get something effective(ish) looking on that texture though! Might even try to get the faintest dot of White Scar to finish the highlights. The rest of the model is pants. Will post pics when I finish. I completely botched the shades on my first model and it looks gash.
I've got three cars now and an F150 inbound. Picked up a Cadian flamer and have a few more heavy guns on watch.
Want a shit condition hotrod but most are more than I want to pay.
Had a game of Star Wars themed Pulp Alley last night using my mates cardboard terrain. He has tons of the stuff (enough to do another 2x2 area plus multiple levels) and never used it. Needless to say I've told him he needs to bring it to club more more we can do a campaign.
Love the Pulp Alley ruleset. You can literally do any setting with them. Gonna pick up another copy at the UK Games Expo tomorrow, I've somehow lost the one I already had.
Didn't go crazy, just picked up stuff I'd been after for a while. Did a fair few demo games too which was nice.
Let me tell you about a little game called Tao Long. You remember snake right? On Nokia? Of course you do, who doesn't? Well, remember mancala too? Bantumi was the Nokia version iirc. Well, imagine if some insane person combined the two and made an Asian themed boardgame from it. With portals.
