This was an early form of the point and click interface which Thimbleweed Park, for some reason, decided to use instead of the more streamlined later interfaces. All of the remakes of these types of games have an option for the more streamlined controls, so don’t let this put you off the brilliance of Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle.
