how did 7 of 9 get onto the artifact when its in romulan space and she has no ship?
She’s a pretty resourceful girl. I’m sure she was quite capable of using another ship, or paying someone to take her.

What happen to the netural zone? Why was it removed? Just cause romulus blew up? That makes no sense. 
Genocide changes a lot of things. With their home planet destroyed, Romulans won’t be a major force in the galaxy any more. No need for a neutral zone to buffer between two territories when only one of those remains.

Where are all the romulan warbirds 
We saw plenty of them flying in towards the synth’s planet at the end. Does it matter where they were flying in from?

Why would romulans allow federation access to the artifact when the federation didnt help them with evacuation? 
There was a treaty. Seems that treaty agreed that Romulans got primary access but they had to let Federation folks in now and then. I’m amazed the Romulans even got that much stake in it, they’re clearly not a major galactic power any more.

Why did will riker not become a captain? 
He did. He had his own ship (or ships). Then he retired.

Who is captain of the enterprise now? Surely picard and riker would have discussed that when sitting on that lake bench? 
You don’t even know there is an Enterprise at this point. And if there is, its captain would be common knowledge, no? Why would they talk about it? Besides, they could have talked about all sorts, sitting there all night long. We only saw what was relevant for the plot of Picard.

Why does everyone from TNG leave starfleet then go live in the most non tech accomdation as possible?
Same reason people retire to the country. Because it’s nice.

They were both Starfleet. She worked under Picard. They had adventures. They were close friends. Do you need to know details?

What happen to voyagers 24th century torpedos and armour? 
No clue about that, I’ve never watched Voyager.

How can you have tal shiar running amok but no mention of section 31? 
First I head of Section 31 was in Discovery. No idea what the connection is.

How does a romulan end up being director of Starfleet security? 
I thought she was posing as half Romulan, half Vulcan.

Why does picard have two former tal shiar agents living at his vineyard?
There’s no reason to believe they were Tal Shiar. They were ex-security but I don’t recall being told what organisation they worked for. Could have just been the Romulan government or something.

I get who they are, Discovery explained them just fine. I don’t know what connection they have to the secret Romulan security forces. Presumably Dino’s referring to some backstory I’m unaware of.

I think he is just wondering maybe why they weren't involved in some way?

Did I imagine some kind of covert Federation agency in original Trek? Could’ve sworn there was.

There's a line in this where Rios is grieving for the 120 seconds of screen time that Picard is dead for. It's something like "I swore I'd never again open my heart to an idealistic star fleet captain." It was so bad that I almost got up and turned it off right there. It caused me pain to hear it.
