I need to catch up on how to add these things direct from bandcamp to stuff. There has to be easier ways. Musicbee allows direct DL with a proxy. I have NFI how to set that up.
Foobar’s great. Took me a while to get to grips with it but now I’m set up and understand how it works I’m golden. I don’t listen much from pc, but when I do it’s foobar all the way.
It looks good. Musicbee seems very similar. It's worked great so far. Bandcamp dls having file names too long that I can't change to extract though, Ffs. J.period I'm looking at you.
Been using MusicBee for a while, I'm quite a fan, I love the inbox being separate from the library, which is great for making sure tags are complete before uploading to online libraries

Huh?? I've never done the whole syncing thing though. I'm using Google Music when out and about and data is pretty cheap here. I wish I could be bothered to create playlists, even if just to give more flexibility when using Google Home. Hmm, could probably autocreate by genre year etc and send them to google music... ...

Sad day for me. I simply don't like the paid for service, as every "smart playlist" eventually spirals towards the same music simply because of it's popularity. If there was an easy way to set rules for smart playlists that'd be great

Spotify Premium folks in the UK can apparently claim a free Google mini nest speaker. Log in on the site and claim. Been put on a list to get one in a few days. Alrighty.
Hey guys, any recommendations, I cant get down with YTMusic, no instant mixes, defaults to play me albums from the service rather than my locker, right pain in the arse
What recommendations do you have, I don't like making playlists I liked the smart playlist feature of Google Music, I use MusicBee on my laptop, but rarely use it, google home integration is a big deal too, I like being able to chuck music from room to room as I fuck about in the morning, if YT music suddenly gets good by paying I might, but I want it to only play me my songs rather than all the chart shite that eventually ends up in every playlist

Tidal are currently doing a 3 euros / 3 pounds for 3 months (3€ in total, not per month) of either Premium or Hifi. You can opt out after 3 months, I guess.
I thought YouTube basically defaults to a mix of songs.
Google music had an "instant mix" option which was basically a smart playlist based on the current track/album/ playlist depending at what level you clicked it, and I found it to be super useful
The equivalent option on YTMusic just throw adverts at me even if I already own the album, it chooses to play the "official" version and because it's online throw me even more adverts
Cheers guys, looks like Tidal is worth a punt then, I came to pocketcasts super late and it's been brilliant, so I will definitely be taking Faceys recommendations onboard sooner going forward
Edit: Thanks Daddy, will try to sign up for that shortly, as for the family spot, thank you, but if Kow enjoys his trial let him on first. Does tidal play nicely with Google Home?

And no, Tidal doesn't play nicely with Google home. That's a big bugbear for Tidal, it doesn't play nicely with anything. Spotify seems to be integrated into everything.
