I was sober for the Trials time. Later in the evening I nearly lost a frame of snooker to someone who's never played it and thought you got two shots for a foul.
Pleased with this one, enough to post it here. Tight diamond time and not the type of track I'm usually that great at. Beat the diamond time by 0.2 seconds (which is quite a lot here).
Yeah - tracks like that you've got to be super consistent so you can try the end over and over until it sticks. Not just the timing on the lift, but the slide immediately after. This run I got perfect timing on the lift and got the slide enough not to lose that much time.
I promised I'd put it to one side for a bit, as it's messing with my free time. I still want to grind out some more diamonds... maybe get one place higher on the UK global leaderboard....
It still amazes me how much room there is to get better. After 1200 hours I think I'm improving when I play.
Was watching Sly GT4 speedrunning the extremes on Evo earlier. Four and a half minutes for 6 tracks. Madness how skilled the absolute top guys are, effortless.
