I'm surprised he's not on board for this. I'd have thought it'd be a pretty good pay packet for not huge amounts of work.

It looks really, really similar to City - which I'm totally fine with.

Crimes in progress sound like a nice addition to play around with. Ninja baddies who can counter Batman - which you can then double counter, sounds good to me.

This and GTA for my last this-gen games, methinks.

I'm wary now of playing too many similar sequels. Get bored too easily.

I found myself hoping there's an achievement for that, to punish "cheevo whores" or whatever we're calling them. Am I a bad person?

It's a bit poor that Conroy isn't involved, but dies anyone know (JRPC) if Paul Dini is involved?

Batmans design seems much more Nolan trilogy style.  Not that that is a problem or anything. I'm quite the mark for the first two so even if this is just a new story made with the old engine, I still reckon I'll get some fun out of it. 

Curious as to what the proper sequel will do.

The loss of Conroy and Dini will be felt, no doubt, but I like the sound of the story.

xmas eve, Batman year 2 - only dealt with low level thugs so far, no supers. Black Mask hires the 8 best assassins in the world to take out bats. 

Sounds like a good set up, with Bats meeting all the big players guys for the 1st time. With the mechanics really already there, its should really be their's to loose with this one.

Splash Damage are doing the duties, quite separately from the SP. At least there's a decent developer behind it I guess...

Fingers crossed its at least good. I can except it may not live up to the other twos standards but as long as we get nothing game-breaking I'll probably be pretty happy. I's a sucker for the Batman games.

By virtue of this, still having to pick up Last of Us, GTA V and a few other titles, there is no chance of me heading into the next gen anytime soon. I'm thinking a ps4 or xboxone might have to wait until summer '14 for me to purchase - at best.

Sure is one of mine.

But yeah, hype's low. Even mine. Combo of more exciting things going on and it looking more like DLC than proper new game.

Still, can't see it being less than very good though. Foundations too strong.

They've actually shown very little of it. They may surprise us yet.
