Black County New Road, once in a tiny venue in Birkenhead in April (SEATED SHOW), rather nifty cover version of Mamma Mia at the encore. Then again in August in a massive aerodrome-style venue in an industrial park outside of Edinburgh (SEATED SHOW). Got last minute tickets to see them in Liverpool last week, but they cancelled
Wide Eyed Fest @ Leicester O2 Academy in September - Yard Act drag an audience member out of the crowd to act as stand-in drummer because their usual one is stuck on a motorway...duet with Katy J Person was sublime.
Manchester Pysch Fest, September- various venues - so good to see Stereolab after all these years.
Topped off by seeing Thee Oh Sees in the Invisible Wind Factory and Sleaford Mods in O2 Liverpool, last month.
Got me tickets to go see Holy Fuck! in Mancland in April. Looking forward to that one.
Hit me up anyone if you wanna go see Sons of Kemet there in Feb....
