You ought to be able to visit a few rooms and then get out with a Goro-M or whatever it's called, but there's a time limit on rescuing the girl. In easy it's definitely doable without too much/any grinding though.
I never got near the end of Enslaved either. The gameplay was too scripted for me.Childintime wrote:Gave up on Enslaved, wanted to like it...just didn't find it that fun to play. Didn't help that I played it stright after finishing Bayonetta for the 2nd time round - Enslaved's combat just feels stilted and dull when compared.

Childintime wrote:I think Persona 4 is stunning. However, while the combat engine itself is fun enough (as in, not so terrible as to stop you enjoying the rest of the game), it's still not what I played the game for. So, I would recommend doing what I did - don't get a full spoilering walkthrough. Get an enemy guide from gamefaqs (with lists of enemies and their elemental weaknesses) and a boss guide. The first real boss (I'm assuming you mean the bird in a cage and her "prince"?) is actually one of the hardest ones (considering it's location in the game ). Don't let that ruin it for you. New game + gives you access to all your personas thus far, so it's easier 2nd time round. Might seem way off for you, but I'm on my 4th playthrough now, it's one of my favourite games ever. Also, pro tip. The hermit arcana will start automatically. When it does (won't spoil it for you by giving more details, you'll know) spend some spare time with that. If you get it high enough it'll save you so much time (as in, game days) and make dungeons much easier. If you ever need help with that, lemme know, I'd be more than happy to help out.danclarke wrote:I gave up on Persona 4 about a year ago, I couldn't even beat the first 'real' boss (I might have even had it on an easy setting).
