The resistances on the Vivi Nova heads are written on the side. And yes, lower resistance = more vapour counterintuitively. And I've only cleaned my Vivi Novas occasionally, as I'm changing juices. Seems to work okay for me.
I haven't tried the other style, but I am very happy with the Nova.
I'm currently running two different juices. I like menthol when I'm out and about for the minty refreshingness of it, but prefer vanilla if I'm having a beer or a coffee as it complements the flavours better.
Having said that, the own brand menthol I got from Vaper One wasn't very pleasant, so I'm currently just on the vanilla until I get paid and can try a different make.
Yeah, when I order some more juices, I'll probably go with somewhere else; give a different brand a run.
Poking about the web, I've also found you can get herb vapes in the pen style, so might eventually grab one of those, rather than gumming my everyday kit up with hash oil.
End of day two without any smoke and I'm really starting to cough shit up. Throat is getting to "sting" a bit but, hopefully, that'll disappear with weaker mixes.
Nice mod! My cough cleared up pretty quickly as well.
Aj, it's because you get a dry vapour from these contraptions, I find I have to drink a little when I vape otherwise I get a very dry mouth and throat.
This may partially be down to the makeup of the juice. It's usually a mix of propylene glycol (IIRC) and vegetable glycerin. The PG gives the throat hit but can also cause dry mouth, the VG produces lots of vapour but shouldn't dry you out. It's worth experimenting with different juices to see if different proportions will make a difference.
After looking up the E number (why the hell they couldn't just put the name on the bottle, I don't know) this is a PG only one. I do like the throat hit, but the dryness or whatever lasts way too long afterwards and nothing seems to get rid of it. I'll have to try a VG and/or a mix next.
If I keep this up and replace smoking, I'm definitely looking at mixing my own. Had a poke about those sections on shops and it all seems pretty straightforward. Anyone here do it?
I've never smoked a massive amount (and was on roll-ups, anyway) so cost isn't something I really think about. What sold me was the idea of reducing the nicotine content in tiny, tiny steps until there isn't any in there.
Are these devices actually all brushed metal and that? Because appearing to smoke a fucking Maglite is exactly the kind of 'ardness I'm interested in experimenting with the projection of.
Been nosing around vaping sites for the last few days, so seen some interesting looking kit. I'll post some up, for interests sake, when I'm on my laptop.
There are hundreds of flavours out there, that's part of the fun. It took me very little time after switching to ecigs to discover that I hadn't been smoking cigarettes for the taste.
Oh, well. We are going around toking on portable vaporisers and chatting to people on the other side of the planet through tiny handheld computers. I guess the future's kinda snuck up without warning.
It might not be a comfortable thought but the best bet for proper VR is still a Kinect v4.0
In vaping news I've discovered I have an unfortunate habit of letting the pipe bit rest on my top lip briefly after a tug. Which means over the course of a day I'm generating a small patch of crust there. Either that or it's all the dicks I suck.
