I unlocked it at 4500 coins, I think. It looks like the normal kart, but more bare bones. I have the other karts you mentioned, just not tried them out yet.

I've been using blue 7, with some thin tyres. Not got slicks unlocked yet!

I'm now down to 1:52.786.

had a little chat with redeye in pm. We've decided that although i win this time, from now on i'll not be included in the prizes. I dont feel cool winning prizes when i'm only improving by 0.001 to potentially win. So instead, as you guys are closer in your level, i'll help out with tips and strats when the new track is listed and give advice to those who want it.

If you can record your runs (phone or viddy) and youtube them then its the easiest way for me to give advice, otherwise name the specific section and i'll try to assist etc.

I know, I had to get my passport for the summer on Saturday so i couldn't make it. I've also got my russian lessons which are from 4-7 so its slap bang in the middle of the saturday. The long weekend is coming up, you free Monday or Tuesday? Perhaps in the afternoon or evening?

There isn't one open at the moment as the last one only finished yesterday. You just need to post a photo of your 3DS showing your fastest Time Trial time for the selected track.

Me too. I got seriously fed up with people voting for nothing but Wuhu Mountain Loop all the time. The online experience has been vastly improved by the patch. People are voting for everything now, it's brilliant. I think there's only one track in MK7 that I'm not a fan of. (Kalimari Desert, for anyone that's wondering.)

The clams are brilliant. If you drive through them when they're open, you can get a cheeky boost by hopping. Great risk/reward system.

You're not driving it right KD is probably one of the most interesting courses in the game. More so in the n64 version because you could mt through the sand after the crossing but as mk7 is quicker the cornering doesn't feel too slow. Also, why would you ever be held up at the crossing? Either go over it or through the train. Yes. Through the train. Leet skillz
