You can just dial in, invite should have phone number and pin. Lloyds always did theirs through MS and I'd generally log in with both mobile and laptop as finding a meeting room was often tricky. Hope it goes well

Casino update:

Interview was meant to be today, but due to staff and delivery issues (I'm currently on a ferry heading to Brodick to deliver a bed) it got pushed back to tomorrow.

Went to do a competitor visit, then a site visit last night, as per the brief. Second I walked in, it felt like putting on an old jacket. Still got lots of friends there, to the extent the gm (who's interviewing me tomorrow) came over to introduce himself/figure out who this guy was that all his staff knew. Ended up chatting with him for a good while, turns out me and him have almost the exact same cv, just did the same jobs at different times. Seems a great guy, we know a lot of the same people, it's actually surprising we haven't met before now.

Even gave me and my mate dinner on the house, some of the nicest Chinese food I've ever had!

Told me that tomorrow is relaxed and informal, to not bother typing up a presentation, or even wear a tie. All being well, second interview with the national e gaming manager next week.

Used to, I set it up back in the day, they've ditched it though. This is a Chinese casino pretty much, they generally don't care for poker. Mate of mine runs a regular night in a pub in Glasgow though if you fancy that.

If schadenfreude makes you feel any better, I had to defend my predecessor’s shoddy work to an aggressively critical client for FIVE HOURS SOLID this afternoon, within earshot of the entire studio.

Ach, it’s alright. I’m a client whisperer. At one point he cancelled a website we’ve already commissioned the build for and a series of films I’ve already written treatments for. Half an hour later he was agreeing to pay double to have the website finished quicker and asking what resources I needed to have five films finished in time for a trade show next month.
