    Fable II
    Fallout 3
    GTA IV
    Bayonetta
    Vanquish

    PS3
    Valkyria Chronicles

    XBLA
    Braid
    Darwinia+
    Lara Croft, Guardian of Light
    Outland
    Renegade Ops

    Wii
    Xenoblade Chronicles
    Metroid Prime 3

    GC
    Metroid Prime 2
    Twilight Princess

    DS
    Phantom Hourglass
    Yoshi's Island
    Puzzle Quest
    FF III
    Etrian Odyssey

    ZHP
    Loco Roco
    Knights in the Nightmare
    Half Minute Hero
    FFIV

  • Thought I'd finish Phantom Hourglass first.  Just made the sword and remembered why I lost interest in this game last time - the Temple of Tediousness.

Going to look at a walkthrough because hopefully there are some shortcuts.

    EDIT:Phantom Hourglass done

Was talking to Webbo about my pile of shame last night. When I finish The Witcher 2 I plan to tackle it. Most of them I'm halfway through but any non racing games I'd probably start again.

Red Faction:Armegeddon (was really enjoying iirc)
    Dirt(unopened)
    Dirt 2
    Sega Rally
    The Club
    LA Noire
    Crackdown 2
    From Dust
    Castle Crashers(unplayed)

    GO!

You lot have inspired me to get to work on my list.

Here are a few that have barely been touched:

    Wii

    Super Mario Galaxy
    Fire Emblem
    Metroid Prime 3
    Opoona
    Little King's Story

    XBOX

    Mass Effect
    Crackdown
    Halo 3
    FF XIII
    R.U.S.E.
    Supreme Commander 2

    XBLA

    Bastion
    Costume Quest
    From Dust
    Lara Croft GoL
    Shadow Complex
    Stacking Torchlight

Hopefully with a little help and a stiff breeze, I can finish a few of these.

Any Suggestions on which one to tackle first?

EDIT : Stacking Torchlight is two games.

I played a bit more of From Dust earlier in the week. I'm one away from the last level. The game just gets so incredibly boring past the halfway point when you're doing the same thing over and over.

If only you had something to replace it with...
Sometimes here. Sometimes Lurk. Occasionally writes a bad opinion then deletes it before posting..
  • @Bibbidybobbidyboo Play Metroid Prime when in front of your TV and Dawn of Sorrow when away from it. You can thank me later.
  • I've been away for a while but I'm on the last level of Killer7. Will aim to finish it this weekend.

Also, I thought the cover mechanic worked rather well in Metroid Prime. Lock on to the target and then strafe behind cover, staying locked on all the while...

I remember Hunters being good, but always good for the DS - the control scheme was horrible hand-cramping nonsense.
  • I never had any issues with the MP controls, even on some of the tougher bosses, Meta Ridley Scott for example. You always had enough health to absorb you local's attacks whilst sorting out your lock-on, would happily jump around whilst fighting too, and do that awesome dash-strafe. Failing that, morphball nuke would win out.

Partners in Time: This got a little bit less acclaim than the other Mario & Luigi games, and I can kind of see why, even though I've not played the others yet. The gimmick is basically that you can control Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi all at the same time using the face buttons, but it means that the controls are kind of fiddly and awkward. To an extent that's the point, but it's not a particularly fun point. The plot doesn't really go anywhere - I don't expect much plot from a Mario RPG, but I do want the plot to contextualise what I'm doing and motivate me to continue. Sometimes stuff felt it was there for the sake of content instead of having a purpose to it. I sound very negative about the game, but I did enjoy it, particularly at the beginning. I'm looking forward to playing the other games, I suspect I might enjoy those more.

I've added another entry for myself in the Hall of Fame. If you've finished a game and I've missed it, let me know and I'll add you.
"ERE's like Mr. Muscle, he loves the things he hates"
  • The end boss of Prime though, was a nightmare. I always ran out of missiles and discovered that I needed to effectively grind by finding all of the missile upgrades scattered all over the game. Located some more, still couldn't do it and couldn't be arsed to find any more. Best game on the GC tho. I haven't played a Halo game since 1 & 2 but I'm keeping an eye on 4...
  • @ERE,
In that case, since this thread was started I've done:
    Splinter Cell Conviction
    Metroid Prime Hunters
    Zelda Phantom Hourglass
    Puzzle Quest

EDIT, oh, and as I've just read the rules at the start, I'm currently playing Dungeon Siege III.

Good tip! I love both games but got stuck towards the end in both cases. I might try to get these over the finish line first off!

I'm not even sure how to find out what games I haven't completed?

EDIT: Looking through my list this is what I can see, some I would love to finish and some I'd rather never see again...

    Ace Combat: Assault Horizon
    Assassin's Creed 2
    The Ballad of Gay Tony
    Batman: Arkham City
    Bioshock 2
    Bully
    Dead Rising 2
    Dead Space
Dead Space 2 (Still in its wrapper)
    Deus Ex: Human Rev.
    Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
    FEAR 2
Fight Night Champion (On the very last fight)
    Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
    RDR: Undead Nightmare
    The Saboteur
    Splinter Cell: Double Agent
XMen Origins: Wolverine (Right near the end)
  • Out of that list, I'd say Enslaved or Deus Ex, unless they're among the ones you'd rather never see again. FEAR2 is probably the best of the series.
