Oh, yeah so the RX 5700 and 5700XT are the only two that you should be looking at in terms of AMD GPUs. Both really solid, I think the 5700XT gets up to around 2070 levels of performance, with the 2070 Super having just a bit more oomph. You get RTX stuff with Nvidia but the implementation is still a bit thin on the ground. AMD doesn't have anything that challenges Nvidia's high end just yet, so 2070 Super and up its all Nvidia.
If your budget can stretch to it and you want to have a minimum faff high end 4K experience for a good few years then you are best off with a 2070 Super, 2080 / Super, or I guess the 2080 Ti but that's probably overkill and poor value.
Right, so that's the bit that's breaking me. I was about to post this build, but that relies on a 5700XT. The 2080 might be my luxury shit then.
Here's the build anyway.

Actually I remember why I didn't recommend an AMD GPU to you before, it's because Chillblast doesn't list what specific model they use, and it looks like they will probably just use the reference cooler, which for AMD's cards are especially shit and loud and it will annoy you. So just go for a 2060, 2070, 2080, or the super variants of those Nvidia GPUs. If they listed the AMD cards as having a nice aftermarket cooler such as the Sapphire models then I could recommend them, but the safe bet for Chillblast is to go for Nvidia.
In that list of yours the 32GB of RAM, thermal paste, extra case fans, PSU anti vibration gasket, mouse and keyboard, and USB flash drive are a waste of money.
I recommend these parts -
If you need to save monies then drop the GPU to a 2060/Super, or drop the hard drive and reuse what you have. You only need 16GB of RAM.
The 3600 CPU is like £25 more than the 2600X and is worth it. The Corsair RM650x power supply is much better and quieter than the Fractal one.
So I want the 32gb ram because my current one has it and I turn it on and then it's there.
Ok but if your usage is just gaming then the extra 16Gb will do absolutely nothing for you, and is a waste of money that you could put towards the GPU.
Apart from that if you need a cheaper system then you can opt for a cheaper case like the Fractal Focus G, a smaller capacity SSD, a lower end graphics card (2060 minimum rec probably). I wouldn't recommend trying to skimp any more than that.
I wouldnt go lower than a 500gb SSD.
I have 256gb and it is a bit of a pain really and games are only getting bigger.
I would drop down to 16gb of ram for sure. You will likely find your current rig is bottle necking elsewhere and 32gb is overkill.
I have 32gb in mine but that is because of work and I have only ever hit capacity on that by doing something moronic. Or After Effects ram previews which if left will naturally hit capacity.
You will get more bang for your buck off the GPU imo.
Definitely. I could do with more than 16GB RAM but that's only because I like to do 3D and rendering stuff. For gaming and general use it would make no difference.
Just to be clear though if he goes for 16gb he does want it dual channel as I read that some games suffer with just having a single dimm slot loaded? Have you noticed this?
The big thing with ram is catching bitmap for textures really but there are some excellent procedural techniques coming through which should limit that to an extent.
Giant bitmaps are a brute force solution really.
Here's what I went for. Stuck with keyboard and mouse as I need new ones.
