Despite its incoherence, offered up a coherent whole, and a fun experience for the most part. The final "boss" nearly shat the bed with tedious checkpointing, but I think it clings on to an [8]. Zany sci-fi physics FPS FTW.

It’s uninspired as fuck.
The visuals are gorgeous. The story is great. But the enemy and encounter design is, well...see above. The flaws in that have nothing to do with it being on a pad. It’s just dull.

Definitely a mess in place, but at least offered a chunk more than your normal game in this space. Throwing shit at people is top lols as a mechanic. Looked swanky. Had a Finnish protag. The scene tempy reffed. Plenty to like.

Because Stranding is literally a tedious walk sim with interludes of the worst cutscenes ever committed to a modern game.
'hold LB to steady yourself' for the thousandth time in an hour. Engaging.
