F9 is a film that I just didn’t get. I don’t get why it had to be so slapdash. I don’t get why it had to have so many things happen for so few actual reasons. I don’t get why it just jumps from sequence to sequence without any storytelling to link them together.
It’s gone from big dumb fun to just plain dumb. I laughed all the way through, but I was laughing at it instead of with it. And that’s not a good thing.

The action scenes were fun but it just felt so... Dullpoprock wrote:Fast and Furious 9 It’s taken 10 films (including Hobbs & Shaw) but they’ve finally jumped the shark. F9 is a disjointed mess of action sequences barely strung together. Somehow it’s still fun, but it’s objectively rubbish.
