I thought the conversations between the spidermen was some of the most fun marvel has had so far. Garfield was obviously relishing being in the suit again and I really felt that moment when he saved MJ.

But dang I really wanted someone from Spiderverse to show up. The bit when they opened the fridge in Dr Stranges dungeon seemed to be filled with stop motion creatures in jars (looked stop motion to me) and so made me think there might be more animation stuff in it.

Ah well. Was a lot of fun though. The screening I was at reminded me of seeing endgame. People cheered at all the reveals (especially Daredevil and Garfield) and there was that special buzz in the room as everyone else the rollercoaster.

So does that mean "football is life" from Ted Lasso will be Venom in this universe? It actually makes no sense why Venom got pulled into this world though as wasn't it supposed to just be people who knew Peter Parker?

Did seem weird that a trailer was their final sting. TBH I've kind of forgotten most of it apart from a couple of moments in the trailer. But you would have thought they'd do like what they've done in the past where instead off a trailer is a little scene from the movie or it's something that sets it up. Seems weird to make you think about the next movie before you've finished digesting the pretty big movie you just saw.

I also thought it was a missed opportunity to not mention some more random Spiderman bad guys in that convo they had. Like Garfield maybe not because he seems to come from not too long after Gwen but Maguire is meant to be old man Spiderman right? Surely he's fought more people than Venom from the 3rd movie!

If they brought back Kingpin just to kill him off, then I'll be very pissed off. The off camera nature of it is the only saving grace.
