  • This list reminds me of those fake E3 leaks that are almost bang on the money for believability but also a teeny bit off. Don't want to Wonkaface someone else's favourites so I'll tip my hat instead; I do like an individual/acquired taste list.
  • I kinda think including PoP 2008 was a bit too much though. Ymmv.

    It was the best one.
  • How many of the Edge 100 would you count in your top 100 if you could? I have 30.
  • I can't find out which month Superfrog was released in, I can only find the year 1993. Does anyone know if it was release in October or later?
  • Yeah I'm not 100% sure they would all make the cut but a quick scroll through and it's 23/24 for me.
  • I'm very doubtful that anyone will remember Hades in 10 years time. Really is overrated in my opinion. That's probably the only game on that list that offends me with its inclusion. 30 I would agree with, 40 I haven't played, 30 of them I've played and liked them but I wouldn't include them in top 100.
  • I thought that about a bunch of games but Hades would 100% make my top 100.
  • It took me ages to really like it though. It's one of those games that could be dismissed as crap early on imo, based on the way the combat feels initially. Nobody Saves the World springs to mind as another game that could justifiably be called a bit shit until everything starts to fall into place.

No offence but please can you keep discussion of the official Edge list in the Edge thread as it means less effort to collate people’s nominations.

  • Just realised I've missed out the OG Xbox completely so have added a few.

Can't believe Link's Awakening isn't on the Edge list, possibly the greatest GameBoy game, and the best 8-bit soundtrack you're ever going to hear.

Yep, I had the translated save and everything! Still the pinnacle of PES for me.

  • Is it too late to add Starfield to my list?

It was reviewed in the June 1993 issue of Amiga Power, so probably before.

Yeah it's the best for me too, i just put pes cos seemed easier but realised I've picked the wrong number too..
I have edited nearly every player and team from jap to eng on mine. Can't even imagine putting that much effort into a game now :)

    Ere, please add :
