    I’m fucking not. ;)

Not everything is The Best or Shit. Theres many levels between that, lets just enjoy stuff.
  • No one says cunt as fluidly as the east coast of Scotland

The west coast would like a word with you.
  • East Coast is soft as shit pass it on

The Churchillian parallels continue. Who could forget Sir Winston, with the nation alone and in it’s darkest hour, literally hiding in a fridge & telling his advisors to let him out when the Blitz was over.

Truly the hero we were waiting for...
  • He was evading an interview with Piers Morgan as well. Surely that should be an easy one for him?
You can't trust Corbyn though so you have to vote for Johnson.
  • So good you'd think it was staged

  • Had to laugh at this morning's Johnson photo opp. The parallels were uncanny.

Just had (text) conversation with a family member earlier. Sounds like they won’t be voting Labour (I dare not think that they’ll vote Tory though, they didn’t say). Fucking business-owning higher tax-rate paying family. The same family member who voted Leave...

    Seriously.

It's nearly over, batten down the hatches.
  • Mate my uncle was in the police in Sunderland (a job he had to take after Maggie did for the local pits) did his time, saw all the bullshit, retired with a decent pension compared to many in his 50s, got a job doing delivery driving for some extra cash and after seeing all the cuts to the force and his shitty current terms of employment is a fucking hardcore leave voter who is 10/10 voting brexit party or conservative on thursday.

I love the guy, but it beggars belief after living through all that he's gonna vote the way he does. Fully onboard the too many immigrants taking our jobs and committing all the crimes train.

Nearly over? It’s nearly beginning. If the Tories get in they’ll destroy what’s left of this country for all of us earning under £80k by the time they give up power.

    This is the endgame

He's probably in my WhatsApp group, plenty of turkeys voting for Christmas in there.

  • I work with a woman who is the living embodiment of why everything is wrong with everything.
She claims to be at heart Labour, and yet will vote Tory tomorrow, because she can’t stand Corbyn. She doesn’t read the news particularly, but does get sent Daily Mail clips by her friend. She won’t not vote tomorrow, she’d rather vote for a party she doesn’t support, because she really doesn’t want Corbyn in.

And I haven’t happened to chance across the only person stupid enough to do that, there are hundreds of thousands of these, like some fucking virus.

    We’re fucked.
  • Aye, it's the media painting Corbyn as a red commie (anti-semitic?) bastard rather than the reasonable socialist option. They'd rather have a lying Johnson and the austerity Tories (safe!) than a commie bastard (unsafe unknown) at the helm.

  • I can't stand the "I don't like Corbyn or Johnson or that Lib Dem girl. So I don't know what to do" lot.
You lazy fucking cunts, go and read a manifesto or look into the party candidates in your constituency, you know the person you actually vote for.

People are embarrassing in this country. If it isn't baby bird fed to them by the media or some shouting moron they know then they aren't interested. People the world over, including here have suffered and died for the right to vote and they can't be fucked to read a pamphlet.

The worst thing is they are nearly always 50+ and have the audacity to claim young people don't know what they are talking about. Young people who have studied how the media works, have studied climate change in school, source their news from multiple places, who are living in the shite created by previous generations without triple locks on it all.
  • Cold war generation eh?
They're still sensitive to the red commie schtick.

  • It’s almost like it was a huge mistake to ask a country full of social conservatives to elect a hippy as their leader.

Sadly due to human nature it tends to work the other way around.

I'm late to the party regarding Kuenssburg, but why so much animosity now?
No one complained when she was ripping chunks out of Theresa May.

I'm not defending her, just wondering why some of you badgers are wigging' out.

  • Was she "ripping chunks" though? Really? Start there.

This forum has been wigging out about her for at least 2 years.

  • Yeah, I don't remember her going in on May, probably leaned on her more than Johnson but nothing heavy.
Her role as insider means she literally can't go in hard on No.10, which is why she shouldn't be the political editor of a supposedly unbiased institution.

At the same time she doesn't have to act as chief sewage pipe for No.10 either.
  • Her profile has been raised in the run up to this election, partly because she keeps demonstrating blatant stupidity and/or bias. Sometimes both at once, like this afternoon when she went live on the national news banging on about how postal votes had been counted and showed Labour were already in trouble. It’s illegal to reveal any results from postal votes before 10pm on polling day, for fear of them influencing people yet to vote.
  • Did she genuinely do that?
I hope there is going to be an investigation into that.
  • I noticed it when absolutely everyone would see May fail with a vote or something and she'd come out like "well.... actually.... I'm actually speaking to MAJOR TORY PARTY INSIDERS and actually... this may actually work in May's favour" and yer like hen what absolute shite are you chatting just now??

    Daft.

Fuck all will happen. The government want her in place and that's how Britain works now.
