Morbid curiosity is fairly normal, it's when it turns into a form entertainment that I'd say it goes far too far. Explicit news and pics are ok but sending beheading videos to the secretary for giggles is not.

He was very successful on Saturday Night Live and I think had some commercial success with a few movies, but he was a very depressed guy and I think the public were mostly oblivious to it. He wasn't a vicious sort like John Belushi - though I'd guess that he modelled himself on him in some large part - and seemed a friendly, decent guy, so ending up dead from an overdose in a hotel room because a prostitute didn't bother ringing an ambulance - he was still alive when she left - is a bit of a shock. With child pornography, the abuse of the child is the purpose of the video being made. Â In other words, the subject is the reason for the filming. Â With photographs of drug induced injury, or video footage of a politician commiting suicide, the video footage is a record of the events, and it was not the filming of them that caused them to happen. watched the video with the dude shooting himself, pretty much ruined my day, should have known better
i wont contribute any more the argument's been had but i just dont know how people can watch that stuff, nevermind find anything of value in it
well, i suppose i can say that my mum worked for many years as a psychiatric nurse and i suppose she would 1) tell you nurses tend to see such awful things every day and 2) its inhuman and pathetic to make a point of such dehumanising horror at least with no conclusion or lesson to be learnt, i'll try be more careful what i read
