I will definitely play the wanking dead if its the forums GOTY. 2012 was my downtime year but i've starting gaming again and now i want to play the fuck out of loads of things. Its lovely to have a huge break and then return. Lovely. I just wish there were more pie charts.

There were some great free roaming gamebooks i used to play as a kid. Fabled Lands i think they were called. They had no defined ending and the beginning differed depending on what book you started in. They were like Elder Scrolls games as you could go anywhere and follow the quests that interested you. They were amazing at the time, wonder what they'd be like to run through now. But yeah, they don't fit that definition of gamebook at all.

My feeling: "video games" is a misnomer attached at an inopportune time in a similar way to comic books. Making some stab at interactivity defining what can or can't be in the club is fair enough, but putting forward the definition of what a game is from the dictionary is quite silly.I'm a Sasquatch man and I'm watching you.

The first chapter of TWD is currently free on iOS. Is it worth playing it on my iPad, or will it be ruined by dodgy controls? Bearing in mind it'll be cheaper to get the whole thing on iOS than Xbox. -
No, it's great on iPad. I preferred the controls to the console version.

All i've played from 2012 is halo4 and Dishonored. So far Dishonored is the best of the pick.
