Absolutely loving it so far, it's so enjoyable boosting round blowing shit up and then doing it again. Struggling with dying though as in there seems to be no health bar and seem to get instadeathed sometimes out of the blue.

  • Pretty sure there's some indication when you're getting low; I'm sure I remember hurrying into cover to regenerate on some signal.
  • The glowing lights on the armour are colour coded for health iirc.
Not always easy to see mid insanity though.

Ooh, doesn't it go into slow motion when you're low on health?

After having finally seen it in a sale for under a chalice, I’m working my way through GTAV for the second time (first was on 360). What a world, it’s good to be back in it.
  • Triple dipped GTAV, no regrets.
  • Burly Men at Sea.  Very agreeable.  Six endings done, which only take 10-15 minutes each, and no chance of stopping there.  It's difficult to find fault with - if you like the sound of an exceedingly gentle languid beard stroke of a point 'n click - minus any puzzles - you can't go wrong at (the current PSN price of) £3.29.  The sound design is deserves a special mention, wonderful stuff.  The crown prince of charming.

Dunno, it’s a bit clunky and kind of dated.

  • I owned GTAV for a short period as it came with my PS4. Wasn't going to play it straight away, so made the mistake of lending it to a coke head who promptly sold it. Never felt inclined to buy it again.
  • Somehow that seems an appropriate fate for a copy of GTA V.

Yep it deffo goes into slow mo when your health is low but sometimes I'll just get tonked straight out by a shell. Maybe I should just avoid shells!

I'll look out for the lights on my suit though, cheers chaps!

  • GT Sport: had some luck on the daily workout reward front for a change.. Lamborghini Miura worth a tidy 15 million credits. I'd never play this enough to earn that much so am happy out.

Dark Chronicle: found much needed fishing and item equip tutorials in the options then caught the 'Priscleen' fish; progress is-a happening. Also, fixed the camera pitch settings too, feels better mang.

Ratchet & Clank (the new one, my first dabbling with the series). Too stop/start for my liking. Platforming is meh. No good weapons yet. Far from won over, but early days I guess...

Wipeout Omega. Oh my days my eyeballs can barely cope. It's good. Fair bit of content, not sure how to tackle it all. Stick with one game at a time? Can't really remember many tracks yet...

Unium. Basically Polarium, with one new idea on the mix. A bit meh so far.
  • Tearaway on Vita.  I'd previously tried the PS4 game on plus, which felt pretty mediocre (admittedly I only gave it half an hour).  It's a Vita game I'd always fancied up to the point where Unfolded ruined any expectations, but I installed it anyway because I've got nothing left to play on the train.  I'm shocked by how good it is, brilliant stuff so far.
  • It's wonderful on Vita. All the user-input methods work so well and peering into charming little world on a handheld places it up there with my fave experiences on the system.

For me it lost some of its charms in the transition to Ps4 and the T.V. screen despite MM trying their best to naturalise it on the new platform.
  • Just started dead cells. Oooh hello. Is good.
I'm still great and you still love it.

Yep, I'm sure they did a few things with the DS4 trackpad/gyro and whatnot but I doubt it's the same as seeing yourself in the sun.  Very taken with it so far.
  • Yeah, picked that up as well. Music is great and the animation is superb.

Although don’t know what’s up with the screensaver kicking in while playing.

    Edit: dead cells

Yeah, agree with all that. Absolutely adore Tearaway on Vita, adore it! Ending genuinely got to me, despite it appearing twee and lightweight. Incredible game.

I'm playing 80 Days for the first time. I was planning on going through India but a scary Brit in Kabul asked me to escort a spy, we got caught and ended up all the way over in Moscow and I have no cold weather gear to keep Boss Fogg comfortable. Trimming his moustache constantly only generates so much heat.
